Double Silver Awards for Bridgend College


The College Marketing Network's FE First Awards are now well established as the sector’s annual opportunity to celebrate marketing best practice and innovative and creative thinking. Over 100 colleges entered the Awards in 2009, with 130 entries across the 15 categories.
The ceremony was held on Monday 23rd November at the Hilton Hotel in Coventry, and Bridgend College were one of only three colleges to get more than one award; Silvers in both the Higher Education Prospectus and Best Use of Integrated Media for a Summer Campaign categories.
Savage and Gray are proud to have worked on the winning entries and would like to congratulate the College Marketing Team on their double win.

CCYPP Site Goes Live


Cardiff Children and Young People's Partnership work together to improve services for children and young people in Cardiff and aims ‘to create a safe, healthy and learning community which celebrates diversity and promotes genuine opportunities for all’.
Savage and Gray have worked closely with the Partnership to produce a bi-lingual CMS site that has the capacity to evolve as they progress.

Savage and Gray at the Senedd for Agored Cymru Launch



Agored Cymru have officially launched their new status as an awarding authority, and with it their name change and rebrand, at the Senedd, Cardiff Bay. Hosted by BBC Wales' Jason Mohammad and with speech duties going to Carwyn Jones, AM, the event celebrated the past, present and future of the organisation. Tim and Dave from Savage and Gray were happy to attend.

Giant Book-Share with The Big Read


The Big Read is a exciting new initiative in South West Wales by NPT Libraries. It involves the promotion of Welsh literature to the wider community with an innovative pick-up-and-drop-off book sharing scheme. People will then be able to post votes for their favourite book online.
Savage and Gray designed all promotion materials.

Bridgend Colleges Secret is Out(standing)


Bridgend College is now offically celebrating the results of a recent full Estyn inspection.
The College was awarded 10 x Grade 1s and 5 x strong Grade 2’s, which is one of the highest set of grades ever awarded to a Further Education College in Wales (or England).
Savage and Gray were invited to create publicity materials for the launch of their 'Outstanding' status, including brochures, press ads and invites to their launch event, held at the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel, Bridgend.

Here Comes The (Bankrupt) Bride


The Bankrupt Bride is a brand-new musical from Theatr Na n'Og which tells the story of a bridal shop owner whose entire existence revolves around getting brides ready for their big day.  Savage and Gray created the show logo, digital media pack, leaflets, programmes and listening post foyer displays.
It's showing in and around Wales before a run at the Greenwich Theatre, London. If you get a chance make sure you see it.
