SHORTLISTED FOR AWARDS: BRITISH SCIENCE FESTIVAL 2011
Savage and Gray Design are proud to have their work for the British Science Festival 2011 shortlisted for the Cardiff Design Festival Awards.
All shortlisted submissions are on view at the Senedd forming the Best of Welsh Design touring exhibition.
Work chosen for the showcase is deemed to be of noteworthy national standard, suitable to represent the talent of the Welsh Design community anywhere in the world.
Winners will be announced later this month.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing has announced its shortlist ahead of this year’s Canmol: Wales Marketing Awards, which includes a nomination for the Bridgend College Bvillage project.
Jonathan Deacon, Chair Judge, said:
“As ever, shortlisting the entries was a difficult task, showing the wealth of talent within the industry in Wales, but 15 organisations and businesses stood out in particular through highlighting strategic thinking and achieving excellent results.”

'You're Hired' with Bridgend Higher Ed
The new Higher Education Prospectus for Bridgend College aims to reflect the vocational aspect of the courses on offer by highlighting their potential to get you hired. A range of students with hand drawn work attire show which jobs they may end up in, while the typography illustrates the change from 'your higher ed' to 'you're hired'.
Savage and Gray 'Cwtch' up to the Cabaret
Savage and Gray have just unveiled the new identity for new South Wales cabaret circus collective 'Cwtch', a touring extravaganza that will feature acts from across the World. The identity is currently being applied to posters, website, a 60 second animated movie as well as other promotional items.
Blossoming Marketing Image for Botanic Garden
Delivery has just been made of 250,000 leaflets for the Botanic Garden of Wales, featuring a brand new look for one of Wales' favourite visitor attractions. The leaflet folds out to show a new map, specifically designed to highlight the many attractions on offer within the Gardens.
Child Law CD ROM for Care Council for Wales
Savage and Gray have just completed production of a CD ROM for the Care Council for Wales. The resource presents the law and guidance as it applies in post-devolution Wales and provides an overview of the law and policy guidance. The Child Law CD ROM was launched on Thursday 17th March, simultaneously in both North and South Wales.
